Summer of Fun: Taking Flight Theatre ‘s The Curious Case of Aberlliw

The Department of Strange Events: The Curious Case of Aberlliw

Calling all detectives, discoverers and those who dare to dream!
Welcome to the Department of Strange Events. As a new recruit, you are thrown in the deep end with the troubling news that a small town in Wales is suffering from a catastrophic, complete loss of colour! One year ago something stole all the colour and nothing has been the same since. Can you help us solve the Curious Case of Aberlliw?
If you can help the townsfolk bring the colours back to Aberlliw, promotion and a permanent position within the Department are on the cards for sure!
You will receive live updates from Aberlliw and tasks to complete via an app as you journey around the park. You can complete your trail in English or Welsh. Good luck Agent – and remember the world is watching.

An outdoor adventure for families about the magic inside all of us.
Why not dress up as your favourite detective when you complete your trail?

Here's how it works:

Step 1: Decide if you would like to complete your trail in English or in Welsh ( both languages are supported by BSL/captioned videos in our app). Book your tickets. You'll receive info about the location, along with details of the app you will use for your trail. You can either download the app to your own device or use one of our tablets. We recommend using the app on a bigger screen but you can also use it on a phone.

Step 2: The day of the mission – you’ll arrive you’ll arrive at your location at your booked timeslot for your outdoor trail and find out all about the goings on in Aberlliw from our on-site agents. Using the app, you’ll be guided along the trail, completing tasks along the way, with a little help from senior agents from the Department.

Step 3: Go home and have a rest. You deserve it!
